The sisters you are about to enjoy…or rather the sisters recipe you are about to enjoy is a collaboration of April and my idea for an “inexpensive cuts” recipe for one of my classes. We mixed and matched, added and deleted to come up with just the right combination of taste, texture, design (my sister is a decorator) and budget. So, whether you celebrate your sibling, girlfriend, cousin, niece, mother or aunt find some time to share a moment, reflect on a memory and give thanks that you can create delicious memories together.

4 (6-8 ounce) salmon fillets, skin removed 1 c. fish stock (chicken or vegetable broth works too)

14 oz. can diced tomato in juices

5 oz. can V-8 juice

6 oz. tomato paste

2 c. dry white wine

2 big sprigs tarragon

2 slices lemon
