"If you have a talent, use it in every way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly like a millionaire intent on going broke."

Caregivers, Assisted Living, Nursing Homes:
Americans who need caregiving assistance are increasing as life expectancy increases. All types of senior services and products providers are now available for caregiving needs.  The adult child often helps make financial, health care, senior housing and legal decisions.

Caregivers: An estimated 54 million American caregivers help with elderly parents or relatives.  Often, long-distance caregivers must make all kinds of decisions with additional help from senior-servicing professionals.  These decisions may include selecting a specific senior housing choice: assisted living, continuing care communities, retirement living communities, residential health care facilities, nursing homes or other living arrangements.

Assisted Living: Over one million older Americans live in assisted living communities and facilities. Assisted living community residents may be offered personal and health care services along with housekeeping, laundry and meals.

Nursing Homes: Nursing Homes provide extended care to frail or ill elders who require skilled nursing and medical supervision. According to The Society of Certified Advisors, there are approximately ?17,000 nursing homes, caring for over 1.5 million older adults.?   Licensed nursing homes may provide 24-hour nursing care.

Home care agencies are a popular option for "aging in place." They provide home health care in the senior's home or apartment. Many seniors prefer "aging in place" with home health care. Selecting a home health care agency should be carefully thought out by caregivers. Home care is very popular today. Our geriatric specialists will assist our visitors with in-depth advice.
