By Catherine Kenney

I’m no expert on the subject of positive aging, but I do know one thing about living well at any age, and that’s to always have your eye on the future. Reasons for this "fountain of youth effect" include a positive mental attitude, happiness and a good sense of humor.

You really do acquire a kind of ‘I don’t give a damn’ about what people think, which is so liberating. I love this age now.

~Candice Bergen

Research finds that Ms Bergen is right.

Blue Zones: Living Longer May Mean a Change of Lifestyle

By Ebony L. McCline

If there were a magic potion that could make people stay youngforever, the majority of the population would line up in a hurry. Even though the so-called “Blue Zones” are no magic potion, either, it has been shown that people live longer in certain parts of the world.
